Composers Corner: "Mission: X" Mini-Books by Chrissy Ricker

🧐 About the Mission: X Mini-Books:

Have you ever introduced a new idea to one of your students and wished you could assign just a few more pieces of music to really help the concept “click?”

That was the inspiration behind these two new “Mission: X” mini-books! Each book provides reinforcement for a musical concept that students often find to be tricky, with four engaging pieces that students will be excited to play.

Just like the other books in the “Mission: X” series, the “Mission Training” activities that accompany each piece prepare students for the concepts they will encounter in the music. “Bonus challenges” invite students to go even more in-depth with the music theory behind each piece.

The spooky feel of these pieces make these collections perfect for Halloween, but these are books that students can enjoy–and learn from–all year long!

Ready to turn those tricky concepts into musical treats? Let’s explore the details of each volume!
