Sonic Surprises Sheet Music Series:
I get a lot of requests for piano arrangements from fans on YouTube, piano teachers, and beyond. I do my best to honor requests that I feel will be well-suited for the piano.
Sometimes I’m familiar with the songs and sometimes they’re totally new to me. I never know beforehand whether or not a piano solo arrangement will actually sell and I’ve had a lot of sonic surprises along the way. I thought it would be fun to start featuring some of these tunes. They might be new to you and they might not!
This series of articles will include:
Songs that I knew of, became more acquainted with through the arranging process, and want other people to fall in love with as well.
Requested songs that I had never heard, but grew to love through the process of arranging them.
Songs that I didn’t know and that I doubted would ever sell to anyone other than the requester, but turned out to be hugely popular!
