💀 Level Up!: Spooktacular Halloween Edition (Beginners & Late Beginners)
If you’re looking for an awesome Halloween book that students can “grow” with over a few years time I would suggest this multi-level book! Each of the ten pieces are presented in three different versions of progressing difficulty. Often times, motivated students will push themselves to “level-up” to the next version, especially when they are highly-motivated to play familiar favorites.
Featured Favorite “Funeral March for a Jack-o’-Lantern:
This is a medley-style piece that combines Chopin’s “Funeral March” with the traditional “Hearse Song.” Let’s take a look (and listen) at how each version progresses in difficulty:
VERSION 1: (Easiest version; no key signature)

VERSION 2: (L.H. is more active; no key signature)

VERSION 3: (Key signature is used; L.H. is more difficult)
