About Cruel Summer Season 2

This season takes place in between 1999 and 2000, and centers on three 17-year-olds named Megan Landry, Isabella LaRue, and Luke Chambers in the fictional Northwestern coastal town of Chatham, Washington. They develop an intense close friendship that culminates in one of them being murdered, and with the other two becoming the prime suspects. As the murder investigation moves forward, the case becomes more complicated as the victim had some enemies when dark secrets, illicit tapes, blackmail and toxic romance comes to light, it sends the detectives on a game of cat and mouse to find out who’s telling the truth and who’s lying as everyone in the small town has something to hide.
